Where is the wedding taking place?
We’re getting married in beautiful Tofino, BC at The Shore Pier, located in the heart of Tofino’s waterfront.
Tofino has become a special place for us. We make a trip out here every year, and we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate with all of you.
When should I arrive?
It’s a long weekend. Take advantage of it.
We recommend arriving at least one day early so you can settle in, relax, and enjoy everything Tofino has to offer before the big day.
How do I get to Tofino?
Getting to Tofino is part of the adventure.
Fly into Vancouver, then connect to Tofino, Nanaimo, or Comox
Drive from Vancouver with a ferry and one of the most scenic drives in BC
Driving from Victoria is also a popular option, with a beautiful coastal route across the island
Travel times can be longer than expected, so we recommend planning ahead and giving yourself extra time.
For more detailed travel information, please visit the Travel section of our website.
Where should I stay?
We recommend staying at or near Tofino Resort + Marina for convenience, as it is walking distance to the venue.
There are plenty of great options around Tofino, but August is peak season, so we recommend booking early.
For more details and recommended options, please visit the Accommodation section of our website.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes. We will share transportation details closer to the date.
Shuttle service will be provided to and from a select number of designated locations.
Parking at the venue is extremely limited, so we strongly encourage everyone to use the arranged transportation and enjoy the night.
What is the dress code?
Coastal formal.
Think elevated but comfortable. You are by the ocean after all. Layers are your friend once the sun goes down.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, this will be primarily an adult celebration.
We will have a few special guests joining us in important roles as flower girl and ring bearer, but otherwise kindly ask that this be a kid free event.
What will the weather be like?
Tofino in August is incredible, but it is still the west coast.
Expect sunshine, ocean air, and cooler evenings. Bring layers and something warm for later in the night.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will take place on the covered patio overlooking the water.
The celebration will continue both indoors and on the patio, giving you the best of both worlds.
What should I do while in Tofino?
A better question might be what shouldn’t you do?
Surf, beach walk, eat incredible food, grab a coffee, watch the sunset, or just relax and take it all in.
Make a weekend out of it. That’s exactly what we would do.
For our favourite spots for eats and adventures, be sure to check out the Explore Tofino section of our website.
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Please arrive 20 to 30 minutes early so we can get started on time and so you don’t miss anything. An official ceremony start time will be listed on your invitation.
Who do I contact with questions?
Feel free to reach out to us anytime. We are happy to help.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you
Thank you for making the trip to join us in one of our favourite places.
Tofino is somewhere we look forward to every year, and getting to share it with all of you makes it that much more special.
Come ready for a great weekend, a great party, and a lot of good memories.
Love, Hollee and Riley
