Set right on the edge of the water, The Shore Pier is everything we love about Tofino all in one place. The ocean is just steps away, you can hear the waves, smell the salt in the air, and take in the incredible coastal views that never get old. It's tucked away just off of Main Street in Tofino, so it's easy to find but feels like it's own little escape once you're there. It has that relaxed, west coast vibe that makes you want to slow down and stay a little while. Parking at the venue is limited, so we recommend taking advantage of the shuttle whenever possible to keep things easy and stress-free. The venue is wheelchair accessible, we want everyone to feel comfortable so if you need any additional assistance, please let us know and we would be happy to help make arrangements. The Venue

Here's some helpful information to make your trip smooth and stress-free. 

Getting to Tofino

Flying Directly into Tofino: The closest airport is Tofino-Long Beach airport (YAZ), with flights connecting through Vancouver (YVR). From there, it's a short drive or shuttle to most resorts and hotels. Flying into Victoria: If you're flying into Victoria International Airport (YYJ), Tofino is about a 5.5-6 hour drive along Highway 4 through the scenic Pacific Rim. Car rentals are available at the airport. Flying into Nanaimo: If you're flying into Nanaimo Airport (YCD), the drive to Tofino takes about 4.5 hours. Again, car rentals are available at the airport.

Getting Around

Most of Tofino is easy to explore by car, bike or even on foot if you're staying near the beach. Some hotels will offer complimentary shuttle services to popular spots.

Packing Tips

Even in the summer, Tofino evenings can be cool - layers are key. Bring beach-friendly shoes and clothing so you can really make the most out of your stay!

Travel

We're so excited to celebrate with you in beautiful Tofino! There are lots of options from luxury resorts to cozy cabins, so everyone can find something that works. Heads up: Tofino is a really popular destination in the summer, so the earlier you book your accommodations, the better! We will have a shuttle stopping at all of the resorts listed below for pick-up and drop-off to and from the wedding as parking at the venue is limited.

Convenient and Budget Friendly

Laid-back and fun, this spot is right on the water, steps away from the venue and close to town. Affordable, family-friendly, with a pub and restaurant on site - a solid pick if you want the downtown Tofino vibes.

If you're looking to treat yourself, Pacific Sands is one of Tofino's most luxurious spots to stay. It's right on Cox Bay, so you can walk straight out to the beach, soak in the views, and enjoy beautiful suites and beach houses. A great option if you want to turn the wedding into a little West Coast getaway!

The "Wick" is Tofino's most iconic luxury stay. Perched right on Chesterman Beach, it's all about incredible ocean views, cozy West Coast vibes, and amazing food and spa experiences.

Mid-Range Comfort

A great mid-range resort right on Mackenzie Beach. Rooms have ocean views, there's a great restaurant on site, and it's super family friendly. Comfort, value and beach access all in one!

Best Western Plus Tin Wis Resort

Set right on Cox Bay, this resort has spacious suites with full kitchens and fireplaces - perfect for families or couples.

Cox Bay Beach Resort

A Tofino classic! Cozy A-frame cabins and suites right on Mackenzie Beach. The cabins come equipped with kitchenettes for easy meals and beach access for the littles to play! Perfect for our friends and family travelling with kids!

Ocean Village Resort Tofino

Vacation Rentals &amp; Airbnbs Tofino has tons of rentals if you're traveling with a group and want more of a homey vibe. From beachfront cabins to tree fort style stays - you'll find lots of options. Just remember to book early because they go fast!

Tacofino - If you know, you know. Enough said. The OG that started it all. The iconic orange food truck opened in 2009 and has been a Tofino go to ever since. Serving up West Coast inspired beach food with incredible flavour. Originally started to help keep the surfers fuelled in between waves, it is now a must try on everyone's Tofino Bucket List. Yes, the line is long.Yes, it is worth it.

Tofino Brewing - Chill vibes and great craft beer.Tofino's only brewery opened in 2011 and has been a Tofino staple for many locals (and wannabe locals AKA us). Wether you're popping in to stay or just want to grab a few cans to go the vibes are immaculate and the beer is CRISP.

Rhino Coffee: You know Riley lives off of good coffee so if he says it's good, trust that. Plus, you can have your breakfast sando made on a donut - can you really go wrong? Donuts, coffee and good vibes. 10/10 on the Hollee &amp; Riley must stop list.

Adventure

Surf and Paddle: Grab your wetsuit, surfboard and get ready to ride the waves. Surfing lessons at Surf Sister or Tofino Surf School are always a fun way to be introduced to Torino's surf lifestyle. Whale Watching: Truly experiencing the West Coast lifestyle means experience West Coast Marine life. Seeing orcas and humpbacks up close is always a highlight - Tofino Whale Centre is located right downtown and is our favourite tour. Hot Springs Cove: A short 15 minute flight away and you're soaking in natural hot springs surrounded by the beauty of the rugged West Coat. Flight Tours: See Tofino's coastline from the passenger seat of a float plane. You'll see the many beaches, small islands and mountain top glaciers. Pacific Rim National Park: Stunning beaches, rainforest hikes, and breathtaking viewpoints. Long Beach is the perfect place for a sunset walk. Wild Pacific Trail: Located in Ucluelet (Ukee) only a short 15-20 minute drive from Tofino the trail is a well maintained 8KM one way trail offering stunning views of the coast line, lighthouse viewpoints and ancient cedar forest.
